Ingredients
Scale
Dry Ingredients
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (or your preferred flavor)
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp almond flour (or oat flour)
- 1 tbsp sweetener (stevia, monk fruit, or honey)
- Pinch of salt
Wet Ingredients
- 2 tbsp milk (or non-dairy alternative)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Optional
- 1 tbsp chocolate chips for extra indulgence
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: Combine all dry and wet ingredients in a microwave-safe mug or bowl. Stir consistently until the mixture is smooth and there are no lumps. If desired, gently fold in the chocolate chips to add a richer chocolate taste.
- Microwave Cooking: Place the mug or bowl in the microwave and cook on high power for 1 to 2 minutes. Begin checking at 1 minute to prevent overcooking. The brownie is done when it has risen and is set in the center but still moist.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the brownie to cool for 1 to 2 minutes before eating. Serve it as is or add toppings like Greek yogurt, peanut butter, or additional chocolate chips for extra flavor and texture.
Notes
- Use a microwave-safe mug or bowl to avoid accidents.
- Check the brownie at the 1-minute mark during microwaving to prevent it from drying out.
- Substitute almond flour with oat flour for a nut-free version.
- Choose your sweetener based on dietary preference—honey adds moisture but is not vegan.
- Toppings can be customized to suit your taste and nutritional goals.
