Instructions

- Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Combine mix-ins: Fold in chocolate chips, chopped pecans, and caramel bits.
- Form cookies: Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Press pecan halves on top of each cookie for garnish.
- Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Cool: Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
