- 1 cup pickle juice (reserved from the jar)
Brine:
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
Instructions
- Drain the Pickles: Drain the pickles, reserving 1 cup of the pickle juice.
- Prepare the Brine: In a saucepan, combine reserved pickle juice, sugar, vinegar, spices. Heat until sugar dissolves (3-5 mins).
- Combine: Place drained pickles in a jar. Pour warm brine over pickles.
- Chill: Let cool, seal, and refrigerate for 24 hours. Best after 2-3 days.
