Instructions
- Prepare the Italian Meringue: Make the vegan Italian meringue as per the dedicated recipe, if using it as a topping for your slushie.
- Thaw the Strawberries: Remove the frozen strawberries from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes until they soften slightly, making them easier to blend.
- Blend the Slushie: Place the partially thawed strawberries into a high-speed blender. Pour in about half of the kombucha or chosen liquid. Blend on high speed for 2-3 minutes until smooth, gradually adding the remaining kombucha as needed to achieve a slushie consistency.
- Serve: Pour the slushie into glasses and serve immediately. Optionally, top with the prepared vegan Italian meringue for a creamy and airy finish.
