For the raspberry filling:

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

For the cream cheese glaze:

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1–2 tablespoons milk, as needed

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough: In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy. Mix in melted butter, egg, flour, and salt. Knead until smooth. Let rise.
  2. Make the raspberry filling: Cook raspberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice until thickened. Cool.
  3. Assemble the rolls: Roll out dough, spread raspberry filling, roll up, slice into rolls. Let rise again.
  4. Bake: Bake the rolls until golden.
  5. Prepare the glaze: Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk. Spread over warm rolls.
