Description

Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with these Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Cheesy Breadsticks. Tender ribeye steak, sautéed veggies, and gooey cheese are rolled into pizza dough and baked until golden perfection. Perfect for parties or as a satisfying snack!

Ingredients

Scale

Pizza Dough:

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

Philly Cheesesteak Filling:

  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced ribeye steak or deli roast beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 green bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Cheese Blend:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese

Additional:

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté veggies and steak: In a skillet, sauté onions, peppers, and mushrooms until soft. Add steak, season, and cook until browned. Set aside to cool slightly.
  3. Prepare dough: Roll out pizza dough, spread steak and veggie mixture, top with cheeses, fold over, and seal edges. Slice into strips, twist gently, and place on baking sheet.
  4. Bake: Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with Italian seasoning, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  5. Serve: Serve warm with marinara or cheese sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • You can use frozen pizza dough—just let it thaw completely before using.
  • For added flavor, spread a thin layer of garlic butter inside the dough before adding the filling.
  • These freeze well after baking and can be reheated in the oven.
