- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare the pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, honey, applesauce, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add dry ingredients: Add the protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 18–22 minutes. Let cool before serving.
