Dough:
- 1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk (110°F)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg

- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Filling:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups peeled and diced fresh peaches (or well-drained canned peaches)
Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Stir in sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt. Gradually mix in the flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Punch down the dough and roll it out into a 14×9-inch rectangle. Spread the softened butter over the dough.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the butter. Distribute diced peaches evenly across the top.
- Roll the dough into a log and cut into 12 equal slices. Arrange rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise again for 30–40 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or a splash of peach juice to the glaze.
- These rolls can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight before the second rise.
