Steak:
- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Creamy Garlic Sauce:
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the Steaks: Let the steaks sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes. Pat dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Sear the Steaks: Heat oil in a skillet, sear steaks for 3–4 minutes per side. Rest the steaks.
