  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Crust:

  • 1 package (14 ounces) refrigerated pie crusts (or homemade, 2 crusts)
  • 1 egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice until evenly coated.
