- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)

- Small red candy balls or mini M&Ms for berries
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Dough: In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients. In a separate large bowl, cream the butter and sugar, then beat in the egg and extracts. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Chill and Shape: Divide the dough, chill, roll out, and cut into holly leaf shapes. Place on baking sheets.
- Bake: Bake for 8–10 minutes until just golden. Cool on a wire rack.
- Decorate: Once cooled, decorate with green icing for leaves and red candies for berries. Let icing set before serving.
