Pizza Base

Toppings

  • ½ cup fresh pineapple, cubed
  • ½ cup sliced shiitake mushrooms (optional)

Garnish

  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven during preheating to ensure it’s hot and ready for baking.
  2. Assemble Pizza: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough portion to your desired thickness. Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Evenly spread ½ cup of pizza sauce over the dough, then sprinkle 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Arrange the chopped cooked bacon, cubed cooked ham, fresh pineapple cubes, and optional sliced shiitake mushrooms evenly on top of the cheese.
  3. Bake: Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the crust turns golden brown and the mozzarella cheese is completely melted and bubbly.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven carefully. Sprinkle freshly chopped basil and ground black pepper over the top. Slice the pizza and serve immediately while hot.
