Description

This whimsical Grinch Fudge recipe creates a festive, vibrant green treat perfect for holiday celebrations. Made with creamy white chocolate, marshmallow cream, and a rich sugar base, this fudge is smooth, sweet, and colorful. Topped with red heart sprinkles, it’s an eye-catching and delicious dessert that’s easy to make and sure to delight both kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 16 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Bright green gel food coloring, to taste
  • Red heart sprinkles, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil to ensure easy removal of the fudge once set. Set aside while you prepare the fudge mixture.
  2. Combine Base Ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix the white chocolate chips, marshmallow cream, and vanilla extract until combined. Set this mixture aside.
  3. Cook the Sugar Mixture: In a heavy saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, evaporated milk, and unsalted butter. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously until everything is blended and the butter is melted.
  4. Boil the Mixture: Allow the sugar mixture to come to a boil. Once boiling, let it continue to boil undisturbed for 10 minutes to reach the right consistency for fudge.
  5. Combine Mixtures: Carefully pour the hot sugar mixture over the white chocolate mixture in the bowl. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes to soften the chocolate chips before mixing.
  6. Color and Beat: Add bright green gel food coloring to the mixture. Using a mixer on medium-low speed, beat the fudge until it thickens and the color is evenly distributed. Adjust the green color as needed by adding more gel.
  7. Pour and Decorate: Spread the thickened fudge mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Decorate the top with red heart sprinkles to add a festive touch.
  8. Set and Slice: Chill the fudge in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until firm. Once set, remove from the pan and slice into 16 squares to serve.

Notes

  • Use a heavy saucepan to prevent burning during the boiling process.
  • Do not stir the sugar mixture while boiling to ensure proper fudge setting.
  • Adjust green food coloring gradually to get the perfect Grinch green shade.
  • Line the pan with overhanging parchment or foil for easier removal.
  • Store leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
