- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
For the topping:
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, mix the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg to form a soft dough. Press the dough into the baking dish.
- Make the topping: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Pour over the crust.
- Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes until the edges are golden and the center is slightly gooey.
- Cool and slice: Cool completely before cutting into bars.
