Brownie Batter:

  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons rosewater
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios (roughly chopped)
  • Optional dried rose petals for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate: In a medium saucepan, melt butter and chocolate chips over low heat until smooth.
  3. Combine ingredients: Remove from heat and whisk in granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and rosewater until fully combined. Sift in almond flour, cocoa powder, and salt, stirring until incorporated.
  4. Add pistachios: Fold in half of the chopped pistachios. Pour batter into the pan, smooth the top, and sprinkle remaining pistachios over it.
  5. Bake: Bake for 22–25 minutes until edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Cool and serve: Let cool completely before slicing. Garnish with rose petals if desired.
