Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine hash browns, 1/4 cup melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, spices, cheddar cheese, and onion. Mix well.
- Spread Mixture: Spread the mixture into the baking dish.
- Prepare Topping: Mix crushed cornflakes with remaining melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
- Bake: Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve: Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
