Ingredients
Lasagna Noodles:
9 lasagna noodles
Meat Sauce:
1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 small onion (diced), 2 cloves garlic (minced), 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage, 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or tomato pasta sauce, 1 teaspoon dried basil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Cheese Mixture:
15 oz ricotta cheese, 1 large egg, 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Cover with foil and bake, then uncover to brown. Rest before serving.
Notes
