Ingredients
Scale
Cookie Dough
- 1 box brownie mix (any brand)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons water
Mix-ins
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional, or substitute with nuts, candies, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, all-purpose flour, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Stir the ingredients together until they form a thick, uniform dough. Then fold in the chocolate chips or your preferred mix-ins for additional flavor and texture.
- Shape the Dough: Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop small portions of the dough (about 1-2 tablespoons each) onto the prepared baking sheet. Be sure to space the dough balls about 2 inches apart to allow the cookies to spread evenly during baking.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 9-12 minutes. The cookies should have set edges while the centers might appear slightly soft, which is normal and will firm up as they cool.
- Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. This helps the cookies set properly and prevents them from breaking.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve the cookies warm with a glass of milk, or store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week to enjoy later.
Notes
- You can swap chocolate chips with nuts, candies, or dried fruit to customize the cookies.
- For a more fudgy texture, slightly underbake the cookies and allow them to cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the baking sheet to ensure even baking and spreading.
- Store cookies in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
