- 2 pounds sirloin or stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
For the sauce:
- 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the steak bites: Sear the steak cubes in olive oil until browned. Transfer to the crockpot.
- Make the sauce: Combine garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and spices. Pour over the meat in the crockpot.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours until tender.
- Thicken (optional): Add cornstarch mixture during the last 30 minutes of cooking for a thicker sauce.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley before serving.
