  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Additional:

  • 3/4 cup unsalted cashews
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (optional)
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken: Season chicken with salt and pepper, then coat with cornstarch.
  2. Brown Chicken: Brown chicken in a skillet, then transfer to the crock pot.
