- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ of 1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix

- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Remaining ½ of ranch seasoning mix
Garnish (Optional)
- Fresh parsley or chives, chopped
Instructions
- Season and cook chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with half of the ranch seasoning mix and black pepper. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Prepare the creamy ranch sauce: Reduce skillet heat to low. Add heavy cream, chicken broth, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and the remaining ranch seasoning into the skillet. Stir continuously until the cream cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth and thickened, about 3–5 minutes.
- Combine and simmer: Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Let everything simmer together for another 2–3 minutes until heated through and flavors meld.
- Garnish and serve: Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley or chives on top before serving. Ideally, serve the dish over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta for a complete meal.
