  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Fries:

  • 1 (28 oz) bag frozen French fries or homemade fries, cooked until crispy

Toppings:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup diced tomato or pico de gallo
  • optional: sliced jalapeños, hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Steak: Combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Marinate steak for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill the Steak: Cook steak for 4–5 minutes per side until medium-rare. Rest, slice thinly, and chop into pieces.
  3. Prepare the Fries: Cook until crispy following package directions.
  4. Assemble: Place hot fries on a platter, add cheese, melt, then top with steak, sour cream, guacamole, cilantro, onion, tomato, and jalapeños if desired.
