- 1 lb flank or skirt steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- juice of 1 lime
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Fries:
- 1 (28 oz) bag frozen French fries or homemade fries, cooked until crispy
Toppings:
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup guacamole
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup diced tomato or pico de gallo
- optional: sliced jalapeños, hot sauce
Instructions
- Marinate the Steak: Combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Marinate steak for at least 30 minutes.
- Grill the Steak: Cook steak for 4–5 minutes per side until medium-rare. Rest, slice thinly, and chop into pieces.
- Prepare the Fries: Cook until crispy following package directions.
- Assemble: Place hot fries on a platter, add cheese, melt, then top with steak, sour cream, guacamole, cilantro, onion, tomato, and jalapeños if desired.
- Serve: Enjoy immediately.

- For extra crispiness, use an air fryer or double-bake the fries.
