- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 can (14.5 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/4 cup reserved pasta water
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Chopped parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water and drain.
- Prepare the Sauce: Sauté onion in olive oil until soft. Add garlic, then brown ground beef. Season with oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir in crushed tomatoes and tomato paste; simmer.
- Combine: Add cooked pasta and reserved water to the sauce. Mix well. Stir in Parmesan and garnish before serving.
